The employees in our diverse workforce practice many different religions and embrace a variety of spiritual beliefs.  Because religious beliefs are associated with our most deeply held values, most of us react strongly when our beliefs are threatened, compromised, or criticized – or even if we perceive that this is occurring.  For this reason, religion can be an area of potential conflict in the workplace. By understanding the potential issues in this arena, we can take positive steps to prevent conflict around religious beliefs...
