Harassment is a serious issue, and behavior that was once considered by many as acceptable, or tolerated by many companies, is now considered intimidating, hostile, offensive or even against the law.  With each new case that’s heard, the courts continue to define the meaning of “hostile work environment.”  In 2005, the California Supreme Court issued a groundbreaking sexual harassment decision involving sexual relationships between a supervisor and employees.  For the first time, a court ruled that a hostile environment can exist even if the person filing the claim was not directly sexually harassed...
