Joel A. Rogers, Vice President Ethics, Compliance & Content Strategy

Joel Rogers is responsible for oversight of the Ethics & Compliance Practice at Kaplan EduNeering, as well as for overall learning-content management across all of the market verticals in which we do business. He has traveled extensively speaking on Business Ethics, and has conducted workshops designed to impact organizational culture for large corporations and government agencies.  He has authored Corporate Codes of Conduct and Ethics for several major US companies including Chevron, Allstate Insurance, McCormick, and many others. 

Joel was formerly Director of Consulting Services for RedHawk Communications, Inc., which was acquired by Kaplan EduNeering in 2008. He has also been the Director of Ethics Training & Education for the City of New York, has served on the Steering Committee of the Council on Governmental Ethics Laws (COGEL), and has consulted to many public agencies including US municipalities and foreign governments.  Joel was named a 2008 “Millstein Rising Star of Corporate Governance” by the Millstein Center for Corporate Governance and Performance at the Yale School of Management.

Theodore W. Nunez, Ph.D., Director, Ethics & Corporate Compliance

Ted Nunez oversees content development for the Ethics & Compliance Practice and is chief editor of the Ethics Communication Coach. Ted has extensive experience in developing online modules and other ethics training materials for clients in both the private and public sector, and he has worked closely with Joel Rogers in writing and designing a number of corporate codes of conduct. He is a frequent presenter at professional conferences and on Kaplan EduNeering’s Ethical Culture webinars.

Ted holds a doctorate in ethics from Catholic University of America in Washington, DC and has taught applied ethics at several colleges and universities in the United States, including Villanova University and Middlebury College. An award-winning author, Ted has published several scholarly articles in the areas of social and environmental ethics and is an expert in the area of CSR and sustainability.
